Fri., Nov. 5 - Celebrate completion of Northeast Corridor

After 19 months long months of construction, the next 1.2 miles has been completed from North and Alabama streets, through the heart of the Mass Ave Cultural District and connecting to the Monon Trail at 10th St. Join us in celebrating this milestone:

Following the ceremony, meet the artists behind the THREE new public art installations:
• “Care, Don’t Care” by Jamie Pawlus outside the Art Bank
• “Prairie Modules 1 & 2,” by M12. Meet Stuart Hyatt, one of the artists of M12, at the installation on North St. near Alabama St.
• Sean Derry created “Chatham Passage” in the alley off of Massachusetts Ave. He is not able to attend.

Enjoy First Friday on Mass Ave -- the monthly evening of arts gallery openings – and support the nearby restaurants and shops that are especially excited to see the end of our construction!

Fred Wilson's E Pluribus Unum on hold for public discussion

Fred Wilson's E Pluribus Unum on hold for public discussion

In recent weeks, we have received a tremendous amount of input on “E Pluribus Unum,” the proposed public art installation by Fred Wilson. In light of the interest and conversation it has inspired, we are placing the project on hold and delaying fabrication to allow for more time and additional community conversations.

We are planning future small group meetings and invite you to participate. (Meeting dates and times are TBD). Click here to sign up. Meanwhile, here's a link to a summary of all the comments and questions we received at the last public meeting, Oct. 19.
